O25 Expression of polymeric immunoglobulin receptor (PIGR) and the effect of PIGR overexpression on breast cancer cells

Abstract Introduction Polymeric immunoglobulin receptor (PIGR) has a major role in mucosal immunity as transporter of polymeric across the epithelial cells. PIGR expression increases various cancers and relates to patient outcomes. Functional roles have been explored several such hepatocellular, pancreatic lung cancer. The aim this study was determine effect on cellular behaviours chemo-sensitivity MCF7 MDA-MB468 breast cancer cell lines. Method Basal levels mRNA protein cells were evaluated by real time quantitative polymerase chain reaction Western blotting, respectively. MCF7/PIGR MDA-MB468/PIGR stable lines, overexpressing gene, generated using lentiviral vector with tetracycline dependent induction expression. Cell viability, proliferation transfected compared un-transfected overexpression phenotype. Result significantly higher than (380-fold, P < 0.0001). However, differential these two lines did not lead significant differences chemo-sensitivity. Viral also found change any parameters measured either line.
